Wooden-case packing and loading

For your shipment, the packing arrangement needs to match the selected equipment, route and destination handling conditions. The case dimensions, gross weight and lifting access are useful inputs for both the forwarder and the team receiving the equipment.
What to confirm before dispatch
- Packing list: match the machine, loose accessories and any separate packages to the shipment list.
- Handling information: confirm package dimensions, gross weight, lifting access and markings with the forwarder.
- Protection and securing: discuss protection for exposed components and how the equipment and packages will be restrained during transit.
- Delivery access: tell us about unloading equipment, doorway clearance and the final installation location.
Prepare for arrival as well as departure
Before arranging receipt, share any restrictions on unloading hours, forklift access and indoor movement. On arrival, compare the packages with the packing list and photograph visible transit damage before unpacking. Keep loose parts and operating documents together for installation.
